Passionfruit Nutrition

Passionfruit Nutrition The passionfruit contains a moderately good amount of vitamin A, beta carotene and niacin (vitamin B3).

  • Passionfruit nutrition contains a fairly good amount of beta carotene which can help protect the bodies' cells from free radical damage and provides a source of vitamin A. Beta carotene also helps the functioning of the immune and reproductive systems.

  • Passionfruit also provides a good source of Vitamin A which plays a part in eye health and also helps to fight off infections.

  • Vitamin B3 (niacin) is contained in this fruit in a fairly good measure. Niacin helps to lower cholesterol levels, stabilise your blood sugar and help the body to process fats.

  • One passionfruit contains around 20 calories.
